The actor recently appreciated Alia Bhatt on his social media for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Anupam Kher took to his Instagram and shared a picture with Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt. The duo is all smiles in the picture. Alia can be seen placing her hand on Anupam’s shoulder while they flash their beautiful smiles for the camera. The picture seemed to be clicked at Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s reception bash. Sharing the picture, Anupam captioned, “Dearest @aliaabhatt! It was so wonderful to meet you after such a long time at @sidmalhotra & @kiaraaliaadvani’s wedding reception. As soon as the actor dropped the picture, fans showered their love in the comments section. Alia Bhatt dropped black hearts in the comments section. A user commented, “Lovely Picture of both of you together. Rightly mentioned, Alia's best performance in #gangubaikathiawadi,” while another fan wrote, “She was truly remarkable in that movie. definitely one of my favourite actresses.” A comment read, “Gangubai is best movie of her because of acting,” “Would love to see you two together on screen,” read another comment.

On the professional front, Anupam Kher has many interesting projects lined up in his pipeline. The actor started working on The Vaccine War as well. This is his second collaboration with director Vivek Agnihotri after last year's blockbuster The Kashmir Files. The actor also has Kangana Ranaut's directorial Emergency. Other films are Kuch Khatta Ho Jaaye, Anurag Basu's Metro In Dino with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan, The Signature with Mahima Chaudhry, IB71 and Nautanki.

While on the other hand, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra. In her pipeline, she also has director Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. Apart from this, she will mark her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone.
