The actor recently took to his social media account and shared an adorable video of him gifting Gucci perfume to his mother Dulari Kher. On Wednesday, Anupam took to his Instagram and shared a video of him gifting a perfume to his mother. In the video, Anupam’s mother told him to bring scent for her wherever he goes, “Tu jaha jayega mere liye scent lana bass.” When Anupam asked her about her fascination with scent, she said, "Pata nahi bas mujhe chalte chalte log kahaein aaye haaye, kaun jarahi maharani.” Sharing the video on Instagram, Anupam wrote in Hindi, “Mother doesn't like me to be thin. But she likes the perfume I brought. But most of all, mother wants to go to Kashmir and see her parents' house. And she says all these things in a loving way. Mothers are really so lovely. Jai Mata Di! #DulariRocks.”

Reacting to the video Ashoke Pandit commented, “The excitement of going up and down in your ancestral house in your mother land is what every Kashmiri Pandit is waiting for . Going back to one’s roots is what every Kashmiri Pandit is dreaming of. Love you auntie.” Anupam’s The Kashmir Files co-star Darshan Kumaar dropped hearts in the comments section. A comment read, “Hamari Dulari bahut hi pyaari,” “She’s the sweetest,” read another comment.

On the professional front, Anupam Kher was last seen in Shiv Shastri Balboa alongside Neena Gupta. The actor has many interesting projects lined up in his pipeline. The actor started working on The Vaccine War as well. This is his second collaboration with director Vivek Agnihotri after last year's blockbuster The Kashmir Files. The actor also has Kangana Ranaut's directorial Emergency. Other films are Kuch Khatta Ho Jaaye, Anurag Basu's Metro In Dino with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan, The Signature with Mahima Chaudhry, IB71 and Nautanki.
