In a heartwarming display of admiration, veteran actor Anupam Kher penned a heartfelt note to laud his close friend Anil Kapoor's performance in the recently released web series The Night Manager.

For the unversed, the web series, a Hindi adaptation of the renowned British television drama The Night Manager, is based on John le Carre's novel of the same name. Anil Kapoor takes on the role of the antagonist, Shailendra Rungta, while Aditya Roy Kapur portrays the lead character, former intelligence officer Shaan Sengupta. The show also features a talented ensemble cast including Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Saswata Chatterjee, and Ravi Behl.

On Monday, Anupam Kher took to his social media to express his admiration for Kapoor's performance in the series. In his touching message, Kher applauded Kapoor's evolution as an actor, likening him to the maturation of the "rarest of rarest wine." He commended Kapoor's nuanced and powerful portrayal, underscoring the impact of his every performance.

Anil Kapoor was deeply moved by Kher's appreciation and responded with equal warmth. He acknowledged Kher's discerning taste in the analogy of fine wine, stating, "Even the rarest fine wine would be nothing without a connoisseur to appreciate it! It would be my honor and greatest joy to work with you @anupampkher."

Coming to the professional front, Kapoor is set to share the screen with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the film Fighter, scheduled for release on January 25, 2024. Additionally, Kapoor will grace the silver screen in the gangster drama film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna. Animal is slated to hit theatres on December 1.
