Ankita Lokhande reveals that Vicky Jain was ‘afraid’ of her and did not want to get married; says, “Vicky mujhse darr gaya”

Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain opened up about how they decided to get married at a recent podcast they attended.

It seems that Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have garnered ample love and attention among audiences as a popular telly couple even though Jain is an entrepreneur and not from the entertainment industry. In fact, the couple’s participation in two reality shows has not only given them fame but their relationship has also come under scrutiny, and yet audiences couldn’t be more curious about the bond they share. In a recent interview, however, Ankita revealed, to everyone’s surprise, that there was a time when Vicky did not want to marry her.

In a candid conversation with her colleagues Bharti Singh and the latter’s husband Harsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain discussed about how their relationship led to marriage. During the same, Ankita mentioned that even though he wasn’t convinced with the idea, he eventually came around. "Hum shaadi karna chahte hain but Vicky mujhse darr gaya aur chala gaya. Woh bola ki main shaadi nahi kar sakta uss samay aur woh chala gaya kyunki hamari lifestyle bahut alag thi. Woh Bilaspur mein rehta tha aur main yahan rehti thi aur usko lagta tha mujhe ladki Bilaspur mein chahiye (We wanted to get married but I think Vicky was really afraid to marry me and he left. He said that he doesn’t want to get married then and also reasoned that our lifestyles are different. He used to stay in Bilaspur at that time and I was in Mumbai. He possibly wanted a girl from Bilaspur itself)”.

However, Vicky Jain presented a different perspective adding, “Usne mujhe kabhi bolne hi nahin diya toh main bol hi nahin paya. Mujhe aisa lagta hai ki (She didn't let me speak then, so I couldn’t say anything. But what I feel is) there should be a right time. At that time, Ankita was in a state of mind where she wanted to get married, and I was in a state of mind where I wanted to get married, and we met at that time."

Followed by their stint, Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande also faced the brunt and consequences of their onscreen fights which fuelled up speculations about their divorce. However, the couple has taken a firm stand clarifying that there are no such intentions.
