Not too long ago, Ranveer Singh had emotionally expressed his happiness at the Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant pre-wedding bash about turning a father as his beloved wife Deepika Padukone was seen blushing as she heard his heartfelt dedication. Now, the latter’s sister Anisha Padukone, who will be turning ‘maasi’ aka aunt, was seen expressing her excitement.

In a recent interview with iDiva, Anisha Padukone, who has followed the footsteps of her father and is a badminton player, opened up about her sister turning a mother. She expressed her happiness adding, "Great, great, first-time feeling." In the same interaction, Anisha was also revealed how her parents are excited too about turning grandparents and even opened up about who is more likely to spoil the new member of the family. "Spoil. It’s a tough one. I want to say Ranveer, but I have a sneaky feeling that my parents are also going to be right up there", added the badminton player.

For the unversed, on February 29, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone took to their social media handles to announce the arrival of their baby in a joint post wherein they shared a photo which had several baby apparel and accessories, with September 2024 as the due date written in the centre of it all.

Later, during the Mela Rouge aka Sangeet Ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, Ranveer Singh was seen opening about turning a father along with the sharing his best wishes to the betrothed couple, wherein he had also asked about Deepika’s secret behind her glowing skin hinting at her pregnancy glow.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot on November 14, 2018 in a private ceremony held in Lake Como, Italy as per Hindu customs and traditions after being engaged for three years.
