Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his film, Yudh. The movie, which was released in 1985, starred Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Hema Malini and Tina Munim. It was directed by Rajiv Rai and produced by Gulshan Rai. For the unversed, Yudh is a thriller movie that revolves around the story of a family caught in a web of deceit and conspiracy.

On the occasion of the film's 30th anniversary, Anil Kapoor took to his verified Twitter handle to express his gratitude to the cast and crew of the movie. He shared a bunch of snips from the film featuring Jackie Shroff, Hema Malini and Tina Munim along with a heartfelt message. “38 Years of #Yudh and 38 years since #Jhakassss came into our lives and never left!,” he wrote followed by a laughing emoticon.

Kapoor further added, “I always remember #Yudh very fondly for so many reasons! Working with the producer Gulshan Rai and his son Rajiv was a pleasure, Tina Munim was a fabulous co-star and Jackie was, as always, a blast!”

In the following tweet, he continued, “I also loved working with Nutanji because she was always so warm and caring, she reminded me of my own mother… / Plus, who can forget a dream chance to dance with the one and only Hemaji! / Yudh really was a gift that hasn't stopped giving.”

Reacting to the post, a section of Twitter users flooded the comments section with red-heart emoticons. “Great movie ..This was your first role as a villain too… Brilliant acting ..jhakaaas / You still acting brilliant,” wrote a user while another tweeted, “A real entertainer with a twist after that double role angle came up.”

Coming to the professional front, the 66-year-old actor was last seen in a Disney Plus Hotstar series, The Night Manager. He will be next seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter, which will star Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead.
