Prime Video’s Original movie The Mehta Boys has sparked excitement across the industry, with some of Bollywood’s biggest names showering praise on the film. As Boman Irani’s directorial debut, the film brings to life a deeply emotional father-son story, featuring Avinash Tiwary, Shreya Chaudhry, and Puja Sarup alongside him. Following the release of its trailer, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Dia Mirza, Ram Madhvani, and Riteish Deshmukh have all taken to social media to express their admiration for the film’s storytelling, performances, and Irani’s direction.

Anupam Kher wrote, “My dearest friend/Brother @bomanirani! What an outstanding trailer of your film #TheMehtaBoys!! Abhishek Bachchan shared an Instagram story with the caption, “Bomzi, have witnessed the journey of making this gem for over 12 years and the way you have toiled and persevered. It's finally ready to be shared with the world. I can't wait. All the very best, It's brillaint!” Dia Mirza wrote, “Can't wait to watch this piece of your heart Pops. It shines right through!” Riteish Deshmukh added, “What an extraordinary trailer of The Mehta Boys. Dearest Bomsey, I am so so proud of you!!! What an incredible director you are - am looking forward to watching it. Avinash Tiwary - you are brilliant”.

An Irani Movietone LLP production in association with Chalkboard Entertainment LLP, The Mehta Boys will be streaming exclusively on Prime Video starting February 7.
