Ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 release, director Anees Bazmee shares why creating comedy films like No Entry, Welcome, Singh is King was enjoyable but writing them was a constant struggle.
In an interview, Bazmee stated, “Creating films like No Entry, Welcome, and Singh is King was a truly enjoyable experience, but the process of writing them wasn’t nearly as fun. Writing demands deep focus, and it’s a constant struggle. There’s a lot of effort, frustration, and a continual drive to create something meaningful. When you’re alone in a room, isolated, you go through a range of emotions you might laugh, cry, pull your hair, scream in frustration, or feel completely irritated.
He further adds, “But when the final product turns out well, it makes all the struggle feel worth it. Writing comedy is no easy task it’s actually quite serious work. It demands a deep understanding of human emotions. When sorrow builds up, it often transforms into comedy. For example in the film Welcome, you have a don desperately trying to get his sister married into a respectable family, but the tragedy is that he can’t seem to make it happen. This frustration is what turns into comedy for the audience.”
Coming back to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, it is slated to release on November 1.
