Bollywood actor Chunky Panday turned 63 today, and his daughter Ananya Panday marked the occasion with a touching throwback photograph from her childhood. On her Instagram, she posted a warm family snapshot featuring a young Chunky Panday, mother Bhavana Panday, and a little Ananya, with sister Rysa in her arms. The picture appears to be taken at a beachside setting, with the family casually dressed and sharing a radiant moment together.
Accompanying the post, Ananya penned a simple but heartfelt caption, “Happy birthday papa”. This nostalgic gesture drew admiration from fans and followers, many of whom appreciated the personal and genuine tribute.

Chunky began his journey in Bollywood in 1987 with Aag Hi Aag, starring opposite Neelam Kothari. Over the years, he featured in films like Paap Ki Duniya, Ghar Ka Chiraag, Vishwatma, Lootere, and Aankhen. Though his early career (1987–1993) was marked by numerous multi-hero vehicles, he later reinvented himself, particularly in comedic roles. One of his more recent notable performances is his role Aakhiri Pasta in Housefull.
In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, Chunky reflected on parenthood and recognition: “It’s the happiest feeling to be recognised because of your child.” Ananya too has followed in her father’s footsteps, debuting with Student of the Year 2 in 2019, and has since built a career in mainstream Hindi cinema.
