Anand Pandit talks about Sarkar 4; says, “We will make it only if Mr Bachchan likes the script and says yes” 4 : Bollywood News

Amit Sadh's Sarkar 3, which debuted a few years ago, did not receive the same level of acclaim as the first two instalments of the franchise. Despite this, producer Anand Pandit recently stated that they are eager to move forward with the gangster movie and that there would be a fourth instalment, Sarkar 4.

Talking about Sarkar 4, Pandit told ETimes, “The film is currently in the scripting stage. But we will make it only if Mr Bachchan likes the script and says yes. Otherwise, we can't make Sarkar 4 without him.”

The producer also addressed the internet trolls who were attacking the remake of Omkara and the Desi Boys sequel. Internet users believed that Omkara wasn't a very old movie and didn't need to be redone. Pandit responded, “It's been 15 years and an entirely new generation has come to the movies. Both are different films. Omkara is a beautiful story, which I think should be made every 15-20 years as soon as we have a new generation of audience. Also, different directors will make the film differently. On the other hand, Desi Boyz is an all-time favourite, light-hearted film, so, the sequel would be fun.”

These projects are currently under development, but neither the actors nor the directors have been chosen. “First we want to write the films properly, only then we will think about having a director or actors on board depending on who would suit the script,” Pandit said.

Talking about his another project, Swatantra Veer Savarkar is currently under production starring Randeep Hooda, he said, “I wanted to tell a story of Savarkar which was very important. We are going to release the film as soon as possible,” Pandit concluded.

Pandit recently also revealed about making Big Bull 2. He had said, “Yes, I am happy to share that an exciting sequel to The Big Bull is in the works. I was being asked continuously whether I would make a sequel and this film certainly will offer a worthy progression to the premise of a financial genius who once again goes too far.”
