After building a strong live audience across India, Amol Parashar has now taken his solo play Besharam Aadmi global with its London debut at The Bhavan. The performance marked the international debut of the solo live play, a live act that has found deep audience connection across cities and is now extending that connect to a global stage.

What began in 2025 as part of his live storytelling space quickly found its audience, growing from an intimate stage offering into a show that travelled across cities and saw sold-out shows during its India run. Blending humour with a sharply observed take on everyday life, Besharam Aadmi built its connect through consistency, relatability and word of mouth.
The London debut added a new high to the journey of Besharam Aadmi, with the solo live play playing to a full house at The Bhavan and extending its audience connect beyond India. The full house response reflected the same connection the show has built across India, now finding its way to an overseas audience as well.
Amol Parashar is seeing strong momentum across mediums. 2025 marked a major creative high for him, with Gram Chikitsalay and Kull bringing two sharply different performances into focus. In 2026, he has carried that run forward with multiple best actor and critics recognitions for Gram Chikitsalay, while his performance in Kull also sparked strong conversation around his turn in a darker antagonist space. With upcoming titles like The Bureaucrat and Gram Chikitsalay Season 2 on the way, the momentum around him continues to build.
Besharam Aadmi has come to occupy a distinct space in Amol’s body of work, not just as a performance, but as a format that has allowed him to build a direct and immediate audience connection. Its London debut marks the next step in that journey.
Speaking about the play and its London debut, Amol Parashar said, “Besharam Aadmi has grown into a very personal journey over the past year. We’ve performed around 26 shows across India, and going back on stage with a one-man act has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. The response we received made it feel like the right time to take the show beyond India.”
He added, “Bringing it to London has been a special experience. It’s a city with a strong theatre culture, and seeing Hindi-speaking audiences here connect with the show the way they have has been incredibly encouraging. The response has gone beyond what we expected and has opened up the possibility of taking Besharam Aadmi to more cities globally.”
