Amitabh Bachchan loves to be a part of social media and does not leave one opportunity to not post an update. He also has a blog which is actually a place for him to vent out his feelings and also disperse pearls of wisdom on the platform. He posted a picture of himself online in a slightly extravagant purple suit and compared his ‘excess’ to none other than Bollywood’s wacky dresses Ranveer Singh. He wrote, “This is the ultimate limit of excess .. ready to compete with Ranveer SINGH.” Ranveer reacted to this and wrote, “Hahahaaa it’s a no-contest! I concede!” Ranveer readily accepted defeat in front of Amitabh Bachchan because let’s face, he is Big B after all.

On work front, Amitabh Bachchan’s last release was 102 Not Out with Rishi Kapoor and now he is prepping for shoot with his son Ranbir Kapoor for Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra. The makers released an inside picture from their prep session some time ago and increased our curiosity about the project. Ranveer on the other hand is prepping for Rohit Shetty’s Simmba. He is seen sporting a new look for the film. He has wrapped up Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt. After Simmba, he will shoot for the Kapil Dev biopic with Kabir Khan.

On personal front, rumours of his wedding with Deepika Padukone are flying thick and fast. There is a strong contention that they would get married by the end of this year. Some are touting November as the month chosen by their families for their wedding.
