Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is beaming with pride after watching granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan excel during her stage performance at her school’s annual day. Daughter of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the teenager was playing an evil Countess on the stage on Friday night.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his official blog on the same night to pen a thoughtful note for his granddaughter. He wrote, “I shall be with you shortly .. busy getting over the Concert at Aaradhya’s School and here performance .. such a delight and a moment of pride for all of us .. a complete natural on stage the little one - well not little anymore.”

Big B also took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Pride and joy at progeny achievements.” Several videos of Aaradhya went viral on social media. She also performed a rendition of ‘Evil Like Me’, a song by Dove Cameron and Kristin Chenoweth.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Kalki 2989 AD with Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. It is directed by Nag Ashwin. He will make his Tamil debut film Vettaiyan.
