Recently, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh visited the vibrant city of Kolkata to launch their song ‘Dhindhora Baje Re,’ a beautiful track that has already captured the hearts of music enthusiasts.

During their visit, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram to share some delightful memories from Kolkata. She posted stunning photos of herself, capturing the essence of the city and its culture. But that wasn't all; she treated her followers to a behind-the-scenes video, showcasing her preparations ahead of an interaction with fans and media.

Dressed gracefully in a mesmerizing pink and red chiffon saree designed by the renowned Manish Malhotra, Alia could be seen earnestly memorizing her lines, determined to impress her Kolkata fans by attempting to speak in Bengali. The talented actress had taken up the challenge of portraying the character of Rani Chatterjee, a Bengali girl, in Rocky Aur Ranii Ki Prem Kahaani. However, as she stepped onto the stage to address the audience, Alia couldn't help but forget her lines momentarily and said, “I forgot my lines. Maine rehearse kiya tha,” which led to a light-hearted and amusing moment for everyone present. The audience erupted in laughter, and Ranveer Singh, her co-star, playfully teased her and said, “So cute yaar. Tu homework karke aayi thi. Tu exam ke time par bhul gayi.” However, Alia still continued to try to speak Bengali but stumbled on her words. Ranveer said, “Don’t look here. I can't help. Meri GK paidal hai we'll try again.”

The camaraderie between Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh was evident as they engaged in good-natured banter on the stage. Despite the hiccup, Alia continued her efforts to speak in Bengali.

Directed by Karan Johar, Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani features a stellar ensemble cast.
