Jigra marks the second production under Alia Bhatt's production banner. With her debut production Darlings, Bhatt demonstrated her commitment to supporting compelling narratives that resonate with audiences. A few weeks ago, Bollywood Hungama reported that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed the teaser of Alia Bhatt’s Jigra. The teaser is expected to be around 2 minutes and has been cleared with a ‘U’ certificate.

Helmed by Vasan Balan and co-produced by Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions, Jigra is set to release on October 11. The film will be facing competition in the cinemas as Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan hits the theatres.
