Zee Cine Awards, which recently celebrated excellence in cinema, felicitated the inspiring journeys of filmmakers and technicians across the country. The show also offered some very interesting performances as part of its entertainment quotient. While some of the most sought-after celebrities rocked the stage with their dance performances, among them was also the ‘Gangubai’ of Bollywood, Alia Bhatt who sent the crowd into a complete frenzy with her live performance on her hit tracks.

Alia Bhatt fans have a mega treat in store for them as she made an impressive comeback at Zee Cine Awards stage after five years with a spirited performance on her popular tracks including ‘Kesariya’ (Brahmastra), ‘Nacho Nacho’ (Kapoor & Sons) and ‘Dholida’ (Gangubai Kathiawadi). Alia will be seen making a stylish entry through the crowd in an open-air convertible and will be dancing atop a truck as she navigated her way through the audience in the course of a LIVE act.

Talking about her performance, Alia said, “I am performing almost after 4+ years actually. And coincidently the last time I performed was at Zee Cine Awards itself, so it's like coming back home. I was quite nervous as I was doing a stage act after a very long time, but the love and energy from the crowd made it a little easier for me.”

Zee Cine Awards 2023 will air on March 18 Saturday, on Zee Cinema, Zee TV and ZEE’s streaming platform, ZEE5.
