Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor turned 43, and his birthday was made all the more special by a deeply personal gesture from his young daughter, Raha Kapoor. His wife, Alia Bhatt, took to Instagram to post a series of pictures capturing intimate family moments, with the highlight being a sweet handwritten note from Raha.
In the handwritten letter, young Raha addressed her father with tender affection, writing, “Happy Birthday best papa in the world.” Among the pictures were images of Raha and Ranbir’s hands together as they cut a slice of his birthday cake, and a shot of Alia and Ranbir embracing against a serene sunset backdrop. Alia’s Instagram caption read, “happy birthday our whole and soul.”

Later in the day, Ranbir appeared on Instagram Live via his lifestyle brand Arks, responding to fan questions and sharing the heartfelt gift from his daughter. He revealed, “Raha made me a promise that she will give me 43 kisses, so I got that!”
Raha, born on November 8, 2022, is the daughter of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who had kept her face largely private until it was revealed during the Kapoor family’s Christmas luncheon in 2023.
On the work front, Ranbir is slated to appear in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, which features an ensemble cast including Sai Pallavi, Yash, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, and Lara Dutta. The first part is scheduled to release on Diwali 2026. He will also share the screen with Alia and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love & War.
