Akshay Kumar will be seen in his quintessential Bollywood avatar in the film Selfiee, co-starring him alongside Emraan Hashmi for the first time. With Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha essaying the roles of leading ladies, the film is a remake of the Malayalam movie Driving License. Coming to the Bollywood entertainer, while it has already grabbed the attention of Akki fans with the actor setting massive style goals, a photo of the actor from the song ‘Kudiye ni Teri vibe’ has garnered ample attention.

Akshay Kumar recently dropped a pic to announce an upcoming song ‘Kudiye ni Teri vibe’ from Selfiee, and his unabashed rockstar looks sent fans into a tizzy. “Ek dum fire”, commented a user, while another one posted, “handsome, superb” for the Khiladi star. Noted celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani gave a thumbs up to Akshay Kumar’s look and called it “Very cool”. One of the users quipped, “you re getting more handsome day by day.”

The photo also grabbed 7.6 lakh likes on Instagram in a couple of hours. In fact, the response of his fans prompted Akshay to even change his social media display pic to this hot new look.

Selfiee will bring together Emraan Hashmi and Akshay Kumar as a fan and superstar and the duo even recreated the iconic 90s song ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’. The song turned many 90s music fans nostalgic including celebs like Salman Khan, Tiger Shroff who showered their love by grooving to it. Reels made by the two stars with Akshay Kumar have broken records with a collective viewership of 85.5 million just on Instagram.

The original version of the film featured Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. Directed by Raj Mehta, Selfiee is produced by Dharma Productions, Star Studio, Cape of Good Films, and Prithviraj Productions. It is expected to release on February 24.
