On the occasion of Baisakhi, actor Akshay Kumar shared a heartfelt message reflecting on gratitude, new beginnings and the response to his television hosting debut on Wheel of Fortune India.
Extending festive wishes to audiences across the country, Akshay spoke about how the festival represents unity and renewal, while also acknowledging the encouraging response the show has received since its launch on Sony Entertainment Television.
Akshay Kumar said, “On this beautiful occasion of Baisakhi, we celebrate not just a harvest, but a spirit of togetherness, where across our country, different festivals and new year traditions unite us in joy on the same day. For me, it is a reminder of fresh beginnings and gratitude. This year feels even more special.”

Apart from hosting the game show, the actor is currently promoting his upcoming film Bhoot Bangla, which reunites him with filmmaker Priyadarshan. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 17, with paid previews beginning on April 16.
The project also features Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and late actor Asrani in key roles.
