Ever since the start of the month, reports have been abuzz with the upcoming celebrity weddings of the year. Topping the list was K L Rahul and Athiya Shetty which was expected to be held in January and not too along ago, it was reported that the impending marriage of this cricketer – actress will take place on January 23. While the bride and groom have remained silent about their wedding functions, earlier Suniel Shetty confirmed that the kids are indeed getting married. Now, superstar Ajay Devgn have taken to social media to not just confirm about the wedding but also shower his blessings on the couple.

On Monday morning, Ajay Devgn took to Twitter to congratulate Suniel Shetty, Athiya Shetty and K L Rahul on their special day by sharing a post saying, “Congratulations to my dear friends @SunielVShetty & #ManaShetty for their daughter @theathiyashetty’s marriage to @klrahul. Here’s wishing the young couple a blissful married life. And, Anna, here’s a special shout-out to you on this auspicious occasion. <3 Ajay”. Ajay Devgn and Suniel Shetty have acted in a few films together in the past and continued to maintain their off screen camaraderie.

On the other hand, talking about the marriage, the pre-wedding festivities too was expected to be held at the Khandala farmhouse. Some videos of the sangeet and dance function have also found its way online and have gone viral. In an earlier report, when Suniel Shetty was spotted reaching his Khandala farmhouse to kick start the functions, he interacted with the paparazzi about the wedding. He told them, “I am very grateful for all the love. I will get the kids tomorrow to meet all. Thank you everyone.”

The wedding, that will take today on January 23, is expected to be a low key affair with only a few guests which only includes family, close relatives and friends. On the other hand, the couple is expected to host a grand reception for Bollywood and cricket industry colleagues.
