Adivi Sesh reveals set of Major was being broken for a Hindi film amid the shoot : Bollywood News

Adivi Sesh won hearts across the nation with his performance in the highly anticipated film Major. For the unversed, the film traces the inspirational journey of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and his bravery and sacrifice during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. The climax sequence of the film gave goosebumps to many. Speaking of the same, Adivi revealed that he cried in frustration when the set was being broken for a Bollywood film's shoot.

It all happened during his conversation with Pinkvilla. The actor shared his experience shooting for Major, especially its climax. Recalling the same, he asserted, “A Bollywood film had booked the studio we were shooting. And because we were shooting on fire and I got sick, it got over-delayed. It came to the point that they had to shoot and the studio guys started to break down the sets. We were able to hear hammers banging and our assistant directors were trying to manage saying it's the climax, let's shoot and all.”

The actor-director further added, “There was this one moment that we lost it, there was no way we could finish it, we had 8 more shots to do and we had only half an hour left and they were breaking down the sets. 8 shots meant we needed at least half a day, so I just lost it. I actually started crying and our brilliant director Sashi said whatever frustration you are feeling right now, put it all in the scene and shoot everything in one. We put on two cameras and did it in one shot.”

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, Major was jointly produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies. The film also features Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.
