Actress Aditi Rao Hydari in an interview with BollywoodLife candidly discussed her journey in the film industry, shedding light on both triumphs and challenges. One significant moment she reminisced about was her role in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Aditi revealed, "When I did Rockstar, I was really new and you know your role gets cut, subsequently at that particular experience I had of what I imagined of the role and what I saw on paper it did get cut, so I felt bad at that time."

Despite the setback, Aditi's resilience and trust in the director's vision guided her forward. She explained, "But I trusted their intention that maybe they did it for a particular reason, but somewhere even that time in my naïve choices I didn't make a wrong decision, people still remember my that small role." This incident, though disheartening, didn't deter her from taking up cameo roles in the future.

Aditi emphasized her approach to these brief appearances, stating, "And even after that I continued to think like a 5-year-old. I still have gone and done cameos not thinking that it is just 20 minutes in a two-hour film, because I know this part is complete and I have that trust in the director and for whatever reasons they cut the role, that's on them and not me, this is how I think."

Today, Aditi Rao Hydari stands as a testament to perseverance and talent in both Bollywood and the South Indian film industry. Despite early setbacks, her dedication to her craft and trust in the filmmaking process have propelled her to become one of the most recognized actresses in the industry.
