The epic retelling of Ramayana, Adipurush will feature Kriti Sanon essaying the character of Janaki (another name for Seeta) who is trapped in the world of Lankeshwar (Ravana) as Raghava (Ram) sets out a mission to retrieve his wife with the help of Bajrangi (Hanuman). The trailer of the film was launched with much fanfare on Tuesday, May 10 and fans couldn’t gush over the chemistry of Kriti and Prabhas. Now a video of the actress has found its way on social media that has garnered ample love from her fans for her humility.

The launch was held at a multiplex in Mumbai wherein the team of Adipurush was invited on stage before the unveiling of the trailer to interact with the audience. However, when the actress proceeded to make way for the unveiling ceremony and take a seat among the audience, she didn’t find a place due to the packed front row. Because she did not want to disturb the audience behind, the actress opted to sit on the ground despite the heavy saree she was adorning, and the video found its way on social media.

Kriti Sanon fan clubs were impressed with her behaviour and even posted the video on their handle calling it ‘down to earth’. One of the fans showered love on the actress’ humility saying, “I really love her... I think she’s herself no act no mask and this is really beautiful”. Yet another fan commented, “No matter how powerful u are be simple..” There was another user who couldn’t stop gushing over her gesture as they added, “So sweet”.

Along with Prabhas as Adipurush, the film features Sunny Singh in the role of Laxman, Saif Ali Khan as Lankeshwar, Devdatta Nage as Hanuman, among others. Directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series, it is slated to release in theatres on June 16. However, the film will premiere at the Tribeca International Film Festival in USA on June 13.
