Actor Zoa Morani opens up on fighting Covid-19, shares how Yoga helped her

Bollywood producer Karim Morani and family were in for quite a blow as three members of the family tested positive for Covid-19, back to back. While his daughter Zoa Morani was diagnosed with the virus after being down with fever, headache and dry cough and fatigue for a while, the producer himself and another daughter Shaza Morani showed no symptoms.

Zoa, speaking to a leading daily, revealed that she immediately isolated herself from a family once her symptoms began, and had a feeling that she was going to test positive. However, it wasn't easy to assimilate it when the result actually arrived. At the hospital, she said, she did not need any special assistance such as a ventilator, and would motivate herself by remembering how there were others, fighting a more grave stage of the disease.

Zoa also added that her being an avid Yoga lover and performing Surya Namaskar and Pranayam every day proved immensely helpful as she gained control over her mind and body, and could calm herself. She informed that her father was undergoing heart issues for a while now, but was fighting it sell. Her sister Shaza, on the other hand, has had this habit of eating healthy which helped her.

Zoa has now recovered and is discharged from the hospital. However, at home, she still remains isolated for 14 days now while she has been advised to drink plenty of water, consume kaada (a heabal immunity booster) five times a day and sleep early so that her body has enough time to heal.
