Aamir Khan recently attended the launch event of Shobhaa De’s new book ‘Insatiable.’ The actor addressed multiple topics including his struggle with international cuisines. Being loyal to his nation, the actor reveals that he is a hardcore Indian foodie.

Dangal actor, Aamir Khan during the launch event spoke about the difficulty he faces with other cuisines that are not Indian especially Japanese food. He stated that when he sees a Japanese cuisine, he wonders whether it is cooked properly or not, as it looks quite raw in appearance. Which is why the actor terms himself as a “Hardcore Indian Foodie,” as Indian food is highly satiable for him. Sharing the video from the event on Instagram, Bollywood Hungama captioned, “"Am a hardcore Indian foodie" Aamir Khan on struggling with international cuisines like Japanese food. Aamir Khan was in conversation with Shobha De at the launch of her book.”

Talking about the book, ANI quoted Shobhaa De saying, "Insatiable is a celebration of life in all its complexities and with all the fault lines. It's about pleasure, joy, loss, the abundance and opulence of possibility. I wrote it spontaneously in a playful, irreverent mood to chronicle and mark a significant birthday. It's an authentic, honest and intimate representation of my far-from-conventional life, my deeply invested relationship with people, with food, with the unexpected, with crazy, emotional family celebrations, besides the affectionate recollections of the tumultuous friendships that have enriched and challenged every moment over 75 years! Don't stop me now!"

On the professional front, Aamir Khan recently appeared in Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie struggled at the box office and failed to impress the audience. Aamir recently spoke about his career and said he would take a year and a half off from acting when he made an appearance at an event in Delhi.
