The film was released on August 11, 2022 and received mixed responses from the audience. The box office was unimpressive as well. However, the film sort of found its audience on the digital platform.

The reunion party saw Khan croon two of the beautiful songs from the album ‘Tere Hawaale’ and ‘Kahani’. In the first clip, Aamir is seen joining Shilpa Rao and Amitabh Bhattacharya as they croon ‘Tere Hawaale,’ which was massively loved by the audiences. In another clip, the actor is seen singing ‘Kahani’ with Amitabh.

Adapted from Forrest Gump, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya among others.
