A revolutionary show of its kind bursting with emotions and unafraid to speak on subjects that would make some uncomfortable, Satyamev Jayate, despite having a superstar, aimed at looking at issues and challenges which were deep-rooted in society, and sometimes even offered strong solutions to overcome them. Now, on a Sunday, the production house of the actor has dropped a promo hinting at the return of the show.

Sharing the promo that introduced us to the show on Instagram, the official handle of Aamir Khan productions read, “It's 11 am on a Sunday and you're thinking of revisiting Satyamev Jayate”. Speaking of the promo, it features Aamir Khan standing at his balcony and observing the traffic lights on the road and guessing about the ones who will watch the show. He derives that everyone who is stopping at the signal will watch the show whereas the ones who break it won’t. The promo ends with a message ‘Satyamev Jayate - Jinhe Hai Desh ki Fikar ( for the ones who care about the nation)’ as it aimed at people who are ready to take charge.

Followed by this post, many fans requested the actor to make a comeback as the host and restart the chat show. “Best show to ever exist. And this is the time when we need it the most,” said one of the users. “Please come back. The teen me never realized how powerful a social dialogue could ever get!” and “Petition to bring back this show!” were a few other comments which were shared on the platform, as many netizens made requests asking the production house to bring back the show.

Over a decade ago, Satyameva Jayate was introduced on television as a talk show that aimed at breaking stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination and was unafraid to explore and discuss tabooed subjects. The show aired on Star Plus at 11 am on Sunday mornings.
