After having some scintillating and some ‘sin-tillating’ ‘Koffee’ sessions with the likes of Akshay Kumar– Twinkle Khanna, Ranveer Singh– Ranbir Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra-Aditya Roy Kapur, the latest episode of the widely watched ‘Koffee With Karan’ celebrated its hundredth episode with the Khan brothers viz., Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan as the celebrity guests on the couch.

The show started off with Karan Johar’s confession stating that, what started off as a hobby has now became a big part of his personality. Karan Johar, who was, by his own confession, overwhelmed, tad emotional and exceptionally happy with the fun, the frivolousness and most importantly, the fabulousness that had made ‘Koffee With Karan’ a huge success. But for those who missed the telecast here are few memorable moments that are certainty worth knowing.

Salman Khan a virgin and Karan Johar a recycled virgin

Salman Khan being ‘The’ Salman Khan that he is, quickly grabbed Karan Johar’s hot seat and made him sit on the couch. When Karan Johar wanted to know if Salman Khan wanted to ask him any question, the latter was quick enough to respond that the questions that he wanted to ask Karan will be asked after the show! When Salman Khan said that he was still a virgin (much like last season), Karan Johar said that he was a ‘recycled virgin’, which meant when a person does not ‘de-virginise’ himself for a long time, he becomes a ‘recycled virgin’!

Sohail Khan went on record to say that, despite being a megastar, how Salman Khan likes to whistle and call anyone in the house. Salman gave an example of how he cut to size his friend who was bragging and boasting about the techno-smart navigator phone with which he controls his house from anywhere.

When Karan Johar asked about if the three brothers were still afraid of their father Salim Khan, Salman Khan said that theirs was the coolest father one could ever have.

Salman Khan works so that others get their wages

When the conversation steered towards taking holidays and partying, Salman Khan was candid enough to confess that, he likes to work and not party because, if he parties, then, others won’t get their wages. Citing an example of Mohnish Bahl, Salman Khan said why it is important to count your blessings and thank God for everything that he has given you today.

Asking for a week, Avinash Gowariker stayed with them for a year!

The Khan brothers were telling about the atmosphere of their house being so conductive to everyone, that it becomes a paradise for strangers! Salman Khan even recalled an incident when Avinash Gowariker came to their house asking them to stay with them for a week and landed up staying for a year. So much so that, he rented the house that he had purchased and started staying with them because he loved the ambience of the house.

Salman Khan calls his mother as ‘Gabriel shock absorbers’

Salman Khan says that they call their mother (Helen) as ‘Gabriel shock absorbers’ because she has taken so many ‘jhatkas’ (shocks) in her life and yet, she is fine.

Salman Khan gets fired by his father even at this age!

Salman Khan confessed that, even at this time and age of his life and career, his father Salim Khan still fires him and shouts at him in case he has done anything wrong. Salman Khan showed the ‘gentleman’ side of his life by saying that, whenever his mother hits him, he always was worried about her hand should not get hurt. He even confessed that, his father had slapped him even when he was a grown up.

Despite his professional break up, Salim Khan told his children to be cordial and respect Javed Akhtar and his family

Salman Khan recalled an incident when his father Salim Khan broke up with Javed Akhtar on professional grounds, he told his family that, despite the break up, they have to be cordial with Javed Akhtar, Honey Irani, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar and should love them the same way it was before. Salman Khan added that, it was this teaching of his father that he adopted when during his (in)famous fight with Shah Rukh Khan. Salman Khan said that, despite his fight with Shah Rukh Khan, their families never held that against each other and were meeting as cordially as before.
