Singer-composer Amaal Mallik is taking a moment to look back at the profound impact of his music in the blockbuster film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, as the movie completes seven years since its release. The soundtrack of this film holds a special place in Amaal's heart, as it continues to resonate with fans. For the unversed, the album featured ten soulful tracks, including contributions from Armaan Malik, Arijit Singh, Siddharth Basrur, and Palak Muchhal.

Talking about the film completing 7 years Amaal added, "The songs from MS Dhoni: The Untold Story hold a special place in my heart, and These melodies continue to captivate listeners, proving the power of music. The way fans groove to 'Besabriyaan' and 'Jab Tak' 'Kuch Toh Hai' 'Kaun Tujhe,' 'Phir Kabhi,' whenever they hear them is a beautiful reminder of the enduring bond we share through music."

He further added, "It's an honor to have been a part of a film that has left such a lasting impact on people's hearts, I am grateful for this musical journey and would like to give a huge thanks to Manoj Muntasir for his incredible lyrics that did justice to the music and film."

In previous interviews, Amaal Mallik has often spoken fondly of the late Sushant Singh Rajput, who portrayed the iconic cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the film. Mallik referred to Sushant as an "angel" who blessed his songs with his remarkable performances, making the music even more poignant.

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, directed by Neeraj Pandey, offered a gripping portrayal of the life and journey of Captain Cool, Mahendra Singh Dhoni released in 2016.
