Every year, we come across films that make us cringe from start to finish or have particular sequences or dialogues that make us want to bury our heads in shame. Bollywood Hungama presents a special feature collating a list of 20 such scenes and one-liners in Hindi films from 2025 that we found highly embarrassing.
1. Fateh
The violent fight gave a déjà vu of Animal (2023) – long corridor, masked men, and our hero who turns into a killing machine. Moreover, it seemed like Fateh’s action scene was shot in the same location as Animal.
2. Emergency
This was a well-made film, but the scenes where characters break into songs in the Parliament and even during torture in jail come across as unintentionally comical.
3. Sky Force
This dance step by Veer Pahariya became viral after Instagram users started mocking it in their Reels
4. Crazxy
The film was gripping but went horribly wrong during the climax. It was shocking how it even got approved. A week later, the makers claimed that they had ‘changed’ the ending. However, it was a misleading claim, as only one shot was incorporated; the finale remained the same.
5. Nadaaniyan
Many scenes in this film were cringeworthy. What took the cake is that the makers presented a supposed rivalry between Delhi and Noida. Ibrahim Ali Khan calling Greater Noida as ‘Greatest Noida’ was funny for all the wrong reasons. All of a sudden, in the debate, he exhibits his six-pack abs, making us wonder what’s exactly happening in this film.
6. Tumko Meri Kasam
The courtroom scenes in this film are shot in a childish manner. To see the attendees breaking into a commotion every time a witness says something sensational becomes laughable after a point.
7. Sikandar
Again, this was a film where it's difficult to pick one embarrassing scene. For us, it’s this – a kid is sitting in the open without his shirt when he has just gotten his lung transplant done. Agreed, he’s living in abject poverty, but everyone around him in the settlement is dressed fully and the one who should be covered is roaming around half-naked!
8. Kesari Veer
This film was a poor man’s Baahubali and this scene says it all.
9. Housefull 5
The Housefull series was never vulgar. Hence, it was a shock to see distasteful jokes, especially about Soundarya Sharma’s body.
10. Sarzameen
Ibrahim Ali Khan’s second 2025 film was also a disappointment. This scene, where he beats up half a dozen men, is completely unconvincing and forced.
11. Son Of Sardaar 2
This so-called comic caper tries hard to be funny. The scene of characters consuming opium and the effect it has inside them is bizarre and gives a déjà vu of Shaandaar (2015).
12. Zora
This was an outdated film and made on the lines of crime shows on TV. In a scene in the beginning, the protagonist is shown taking a bath. The camera pans down from his chest to his navel. The camera doesn’t stop and keeps going down. It led to unintentional laughter in the cinemas as patrons feared that the makers might end up exposing a lot more of his body.
13. War 2
The action scenes were hardly any enticing and too stretched. The scene where the boat lands on a racing track is stupid. There was no need for it; the scene would have progressed even without the said sequence.
14. Baaghi 4
We didn’t mind the first half, but later on, the film takes a disappointing turn. The scene where goons emerge from the sand in the climax added to the film’s length and did nothing to impress the audience.
15. The Bengal Files
Sardar Husseini is a dreaded MLA. The news of CBI officials possibly arresting Sardar leads to a riot-like situation. Yet, in the end, the CBI officer tortures the MLA to death and coolly roams around in the area until the next day. A realistic film, thus, turned silly and illogical in the climax.
16. Ufff Yeh Siyapaa
The first half of this film is unbearable and hardly funny. Those who sat through it deserve a bravery medal.
17. Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat
There’s no doubt that this film has its strong moments and worked with the audience. Yet, the intermission point, where the female protagonist announces that she’ll sleep with anyone who’ll kill the dashing hero, makes for an unsettling watch. A section of the audience and intelligentsia was left outraged with this block.
18. Mastiii 4
The toilet jokes in the second half of this film are crass and difficult to sit through. Just like Housefull, this film also suffers as the makers during the earlier parts never had to resort to such humour.
19. Tere Ishk Mein
It was a Rs. 100 crores grosser and got its share of love. However, the majority of the people had issues with the climax, especially the purpose of Kriti Sanon’s character to go to a low-altitude place like Ladakh during her pregnancy. Also, it's laughable that such a mentally unstable doctor was even allowed to take up the assignment in the first place.
20. Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri
The lo-fi version of ‘Saat Samandar Paar’ didn’t work at all and was many notches below the original song, which continues to be memorable even today.
