PHATA POSTER NIKLA HERO had a decent start, with certain centres opening fairly well [45% to 50%] and some centres opening below the mark. While the opening is much better than Shahid Kapoor's last two films, it remains to be seen if the business gathers momentum from evening/night show onwards. The other release, THE LUNCHBOX, opened very well at several urban plexes.
Shahid starrer PHATA POSTER NIKHLA HERO collected approx Rs. 6 cr on Friday while Irrfan Khan starrer THE LUNCHBOX collected Rs. 1.25 cr.
