The super-successful team of ROWDY RATHORE, Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, failed to lure the audiences as their new outing JOKER opened to a shockingly low response across many screens in India. The initial shows were in 10% to 15% to 20% range, while the single screens in the mass-dominated belt recorded better occupancies. What comes as a shock is the low turnout despite the presence of A-list stars in the movie.
The next two days -- Saturday and Sunday -- are crucial for the film. JOKER will have to show a miraculous escalation in business if it has to stay afloat.
