The much-in-news Shahid-Kareena starrer JAB WE MET opened to a 65%-70% start at several stations. The multiplexes at some centres were even better, while the single screens were lower. The film has been appreciated and the distributors are hopeful that the first weekend will be more than satisfactory. Meanwhile, the school vacations are about to begin and that should benefit JAB WE MET in days to come.
NO SMOKING has failed to take off. The opening numbers were 15%-20% at several places. Also, the reports are outright negative. MUMBAI SALSA has opened to dismal houses, while BAL GANESH, despite encouraging reports, has also opened to poor houses.
