At a time when announcements of new films are hardly generating any excitement thanks to the on-going recession, one is eagerly looking forward to the launch of Tolu Bajaj's (Subhash Ghai's partner in distribution) son, Sachin Bajaj's directorial debut, BARAAT. Sachin, who has been an assistant to directors Shankar and Indra Kumar, has been working on the script of his directorial debut, to be produced by his father. As of now, Tolu Bajaj informs that the scripting of the film is over and they have indeed confirmed Vivek Oberoi to play the lead in the film, though the leading lady is yet to be finalised. "It's a family social and we'd signed Vivek before the release of COMPANY. He seems to be the ideal choice for the role. But we are still on the lookout for a suitable actress opposite Vivek. The moment we take a decision on that, we will go ahead with the film," he divulges
