Rang De Basanti had taken the nation by storm last year and well, UTV has some special plans to celebrate one year anniversary of the film. UTV motion pictures will be giving a theatrical release to the film once again on January 26, the same day when the film was released last year. India also celebrates its Republic Day on the same day and the film very much goes in sync with the occasion. This will be the first time that a film is being re-released within a year.
Rang De Basanti will be released in select few theatres around the country. The film will run in the theatres for a period of one week.
