That don’t impress me much!

Before you give us that 'What-are you-guys-talking' look, let us tell you that it isn't about the long legged pop princess, Shania Twain that we are talking, but our Bollywood hunk, Saif Ali Khan. The Chote Nawab recently said something extremely amusing which we thought should spice up your day

This was during one of the press meets that happened when the media had come down to visit us during our Darjeeling shoot Saif tells us. We were shooting the train song, Kasto Mazza and 'The one that his mom Sharmilaji shot on?, we interrupt. He looks at us with a bemused expression, See, this is the exact same thing that happened there. I had just finished with my shoot and was settling for an interview when one gentleman asked me how I felt having shot on the train that my mom once shot on. Look, I am not a big fan of nostalgia trivia. Frankly I think it is pretty cheesy and so I threw him an awkward expression to the effect of, 'So?' Which now I think might have been a tad too cocky the actor with the wry humor confesses.

Getting back to the incident, I guess my response didn't go very well with the media, they didn't look very amused and things were getting a bit awkward between us. That's when I shifted my strategy. In 5 minutes of time, the media and I were discussing the tiniest details of my shoot on that train. I was there telling them how 'touched' I was to be shooting on the same train that my mummy shot on (trust us, Saif does that mummy bit so sarcastically, had the press guy been there, he would have wished he were dead). I was even courteous to add on how emotionally moving it felt, to be shooting on the train. I think they quite liked that bit! he mocks.

Both Saif & we are in splits

Trying to hold a straight face, we ask him if he actually enjoyed the filming? I just told you how touched I he starts off again on his humor spree. 'Saif, don't do that!', we tell him, continuing to laugh, Fine, on a serious note, see, it is a beautiful, quaint train which takes you to Darjeeling & back, the climate is pleasant too. So the shooting was fun, but that's when it ends. But to expect me to have emotional strings attached to the sequence is a bit bizarre, I would say. This kind of small talk doesn't impress me much, it really doesn't! the suave actor signs off.
