With several actresses from the South industry foraying into Bollywood, yet another name added to the list is Mrudula Murali. The actress has been roped in for the upcoming period drama titled Raagdesh.
Though the details of her character are being kept under wraps, a recently released statement revealed that her role in the film is inspired by a real life person. Mrudula Murali started her career with Malayalam film, Red Chillies and has also done a couple of Tamil films. On the other hand, Raagdesh is a historical drama based on the infamous Red Fort Trials of ten Indian National Army officials. The film also stars Kunal Kapoor and Mohit Marwah in prominent roles.
While a major shooting schedule is said to be completed in Dehradun, the film is slated to go on floors in the next couple of days at a suburban studio in Mumbai.
