While she is the daughter of one of the most renowned filmmakers Shekhar Kapur, Kaveri has decided to stay within the world of music. She aspires to be a musician and is already set to record her first single.

The single in question is titled 'Did You Know', written by her. Stating that the songs she writes are generally inspired by people and situations around her, Kaveri also expresses her gratitude towards her parents who have always supported her in her decision of choosing music as her career.
Following her love for music, Kaveri has further decided to pursue her high education in the same field.
