Karan Johar accompanied him to the show whereas Aditya Chopra was Shahrukh's lifeline as call-a-friend. Rani Mukherjee has done her part of the shooting on 11 Dec Monday. The episode is most likely to be telecast on January 1st 2001. The amount which Shahrukh & Rani will win will be donated to charity. By the way, do you want to know how much did Shahrukh win? We would not like to reveal, but here is a hint. He follows the way of the Khan. And Rani is surely in good company with Bendre. Unconfirmed sources say that Shahrukh won 50 lacs and Rani 25 lacs. Shahrukh answered 14 questions using only one lifeline. He would have struck the crore mark, but at the last question, he faltered and lost due to time out buzzer. Shahrukh has not claimed the prize money. The money will remain with KBC till the time Shahrukh concretizes his plan for building an orphanage in Bombay.
