The Mumbai Police arrested Nazim Rizvi, the producer of Chori Chori Chupke Chupke on Wednesday morning. He was charged with conspiracy, money laundering etc. under the MCO - Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act. Amongst other charges, Rizvi is alleged to have underworld connections and help criminals. He is scheduled to be produced before the court of the Metropolitian Magisterate in due course. Rizvi was under a suspicion after allegations that underworld don Chhota Shakeel had funded the Salman Khan-Preity Zinta-Rani Mukherjee starrer. Police sources said Salman Khan and film financier Bharat Shah will also be interrogated for their links with the underworld. It may be recalled that the film, directed by the Abbas-Mastan duo was being investigated by the Intelligence Bureau, Income Tax and the Mumbai police for laundering underworld money for producing the film. The police claimed that Chori Chori Chupke had managed to get bulk dates from all the top stars, which is possible only if you know the Bhai. It seems that for Salman is lurching from one controversy to other. After the black buck, the ruckus at Ash's house, this is the next trouble waiting for him.
