Speculation is rife that Sanjay Leela Bhansalis new offering SAAWARIYA, which is scheduled to hit the screens on 9th November [Diwali week], will not make it on the date. Reportedly, Bhansali doesnt want to hurry things up just because he has to meet the deadline. Its completely untrue. SAAWARIYA is definitely arriving on 9th November, Uday Singh, who heads Sony Pictures in India, tells me, Weve locked the date. Theres no shifting forward. Sony Pictures is producing this keenly awaited film. Its a known fact that Sony Pictures is keen to give SAAWARIYA an extensive global release. But not many are aware that the film will be dubbed in several foreign languages to cater to the local markets. See, it all depends on the Country Manager. Its not right for me to comment on it.
