The shooting schedule of Aamir Khan's The Rising is in full swing. In one of the scenes recently shot at the Police Force grounds in Pune, the perfectionist Khan was seen fully charged before the camera to display his histrionics on the silver screen after his prolonged hibernation of more than 2 years from Bollywood. In the scene being filmed, 1000 junior artists dressed in red and white uniforms as soldiers are asked to bite off the cartridges greased with pig and cow fat by the British imperials refusing which they will be blown off into bits by cannons. Undeterred by the orders, Mangal Pandey (played by Aamir Khan) comes forward and spews the word 'fire'. The scene is of prime importance in the movie as it leads to the turning point of the mutiny led by revolutionary Mangal Pandey against the British East India Company. Once the cut is called, Aamir encourages the junior artists to get the perfect nuances for the scene to express their wrath against the racial discrimination.
