Ram Gopal Varma had cast a small time actress from the past decade - Rukhsar in his self-directed film Sarkar starring Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. And now he has even cast the actress in his other production D. D is a prequel to Ram Gopal Varma's Company starring Randeep Hooda in the title role. D seems to be loosely based on the character of an infamous underworld don and Rukhsar's character in the film is loosely based on Mandakini.
Rukhsar was seen a decade ago in movies like Yaad Rakhegi Duniya and Inteha Pyar Ki. After a broken marriage and managing her garment business in hometown UP, Rukhsar is back on the Bollywood scene.
