Long back, the director of CHAMATKAAR and RAM JAANE, had signed Shah Rukh Khan for his new project, but the project has been shelved. Reason? Date problems!
The maker had signed SRK a couple of years ago, but the camera never rolled. There was no point waiting endlessly, which is why we decided to drop the project, Umesh Mehra divulges.
Incidentally, the Mehras are all set to start two projects shortly. The first will be directed by Umesh and the second by Rajiv. The project Rajiv is directing is not that was supposed to start with SRK. Its an all-new script, he adds.
