Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision P. Ltd., the concern that had earlier produced FUN2SHH and AGNI PANKH, is all geared up to start a string of new projects. The project with David Dhawan in the director's seat is in under-production stages and will be wrapped up by October 28. This film, produced by Ashtavinayak and Sohail Khan Production jointly, stars Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen and Katrina Kaif in principal roles. Ashtavinayak is all set to start MAHARATHI, which will be directed by Vikram Bhatt. To roll in January 2005, the film will star Big B, Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. The latest development is that Ashtavinayak has joined hands with Suniel Shetty's Popcorn to produce a love story with ample doses of comedy, which will be directed by Priyadarshan. The film, not titled yet, is expected to star Ajay Devgan and Shahid Kapoor in the lead. Talks are currently in progress with them, Dhaval Jatania of Ashtavinayak confirms. The film will star two leading ladies, who are currently under finalization. Besides this project, Ashtavinayak is all set to start two more biggies, which are currently in pre-production stages.
