Fans of Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta will have to wait till November for the combo's new film to unleash
Sanjay Gupta's keenly anticipated flick MUSAFIR, presented by Sanjay Dutt, will hit the screens in Diwali this year. Originally scheduled for release on August 27, the film has been postponed by two-and-a-half months because Gupta wants to captalize on the festive mood, when the business of Hindi movies shows an upswing.
It's better to release your film in Diwali, when ladies and children throng the cinema halls in large numbers, Gupta informs me.
Interestingly, this would be the second Diwali when SRK and the Deadly Dutt will clash with each other. Reportedly, Yash Chopra's Big B - SRK starrer [not titled yet] is also arriving this Diwali.
