For her next film Zamaanat wherein she stars with Amitabh Bachchan, she sports a dark tanned look. Producer-director S. Ramaanathan used this special getup, as he wanted to show Karisma in disguise in one scene of the movie. So heavy was her make-up that the spectators could hardly recognize Karisma. So what Karisma can still claim, Hum kaale hai to kya hua dilwale hai!
