Producer Suresh Sharma's gripping murder mystery 'Miss India' is scheduled for release this month end. The movie is set against the backdrop of a formal beauty contest, which has 30 models participating in it. To make the movie more realistic, the makers incorporated the behind-the-scenes manipulation, lobbying and the flirtatious nature of some of the aspirants. The beauty contest in the movie lasts for eight days. Om Puri plays a detective whose job is to nab the culprit who has committed two murders that take place during the contest. There is also an item number in the movie, which has been picturised on Shweta Menon.
