Unlike the previous installments of the horror franchise Raaz, this time around, the Bhatts have decided to opt for a different approach when it comes to the casting of the film. They have signed Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora as the leads along with Emraan Hashmi.
Few months ago, Vikram Bhatt stated that he wanted to take the Raaz franchise to the next level and they had already roped in Emraan Hashmi as one of the protagonists in the film. However, while three of its previous installments had popular actresses like Bipasha Basu and Kangna Ranaut, this time around, it is Kriti Kharbanda who will be making her Bollywood debut with this horror series. Kriti debuted in the Indian entertainment industry in 2009 with the Telugu film Boni and has since then been a popular name down South.
On the other hand, model turned actor Gaurav Arora will be debuting as the lead in Vikram Bhatt's other film Love Games: Loving Dangerously alongside Patralekha and Tara Alisha Berry.
Raaz Rebooted is all set to go on floor in January and a major portion of the film will be shot in Romania.
