Director Neeraj Vora is kicked about directing the third installment of the comedy franchise Hera Pheri and the casting process has started in full swing. From what we hear, the latest addition to the cast is none other than Kay Kay Menon.
Kay Kay Menon, who recently received applauds for his negative role in Haider, will be seen in the role of a don in Hera Pheri 3. Revealing about the development, filmmaker Neeraj Vora added that initially the role was offered to Irrfan Khan, who couldn't commit to the film because of date issues. Often known for his intense roles, Kay Kay Menon is slowly shifting focus to light hearted genres. Elaborating on the character of a gangster he will be playing, Vora mentioned that his role will be a good mix of comedy and seriousness which will leave the audience surprised.
On the other hand, this is the second film that Kay Kay Menon has signed of late in this genre. He will also be seen in the rom-com produced by Mahesh Bhupathi alongside Lara Dutta in Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi.
Hera Pheri 3 stars John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal in lead roles and is produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. The film is slated to release on December 18, 2015.
